- Why do I need to have an Account?
If you are a new customer and haven't placed an order with us yet, you do not need to register or open an account with us first. You will create an account at the time that you place your first order. However, registering with us will speed up your order during the order checkout.
We ask for a small amount of information such as your name and address and we then store the information so that the next time you return to make a purchase, we can speed up the time it takes, as we will already have your details. We will also need information as to how you intend to pay for your order.
Any credit card details provided to us will be encrypted to maintain the privacy of your details using high level SSL encryption technology, which is the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. We will also ask you to create a unique password to further protect your details. You will then need to key in your password to place subsequent orders or check the current status of an order
- What details do I need to provide?
We only require the very basic details that will enable us to process an order. This includes aspects such as your name, address, and the address to which you want the order sending. We also require your phone or fax number. Your phone number is required for some of the shipping options. We will not call you and your phone number will not be shared with any third party.
For each order we will also need to know how you intend paying. If you intend to normally pay using a credit card then these details can be retained within your Account so that you do not need to key them in for each purchase. You can however use any of the payment methods listed on our site and there are no limitations to the number of times you can change the payment method.
- Will my details be secure?
We realise just how important it is to securely store any information that you provide and that is one reason why multicolour.com maintains the highest level of security.

- What are cookies?
To shop at multicolour.com you need to have all cookies enabled. Cookies are tiny text files stored on your computer when you visit certain web pages. Multicolour.com uses cookies to keep track of what you have in your shopping cart.

- What can I manage using "My Account"?
Whatever you forgot to do when placing your order, you can do yourself via "My Account" plus manage your wish list, personal settings and subscribe to or unsubscribe from a mailing. Please see full list of services below.
- See the status of all your orders and transactions
- See all your orders history and print invoices
- Edit the shipping options and addresses on unshipped orders
- Add more items to unshipped orders
- Group several orders with different availability times as one delivery, or split an order into separate deliveries
- Add or edit special orders instructions /comments on unshipped orders
- Manage your unpaid auctions ( Ebay and Yahoo)
- Manage your payment preference
- Earn personal or corporate discounts
- Manage your Address Book (multiply addresses)
- Edit or set up a Wish List( favorite items to buy later)
- Update or change account settings, including changing your e-mail address, password, time zone or Express Checkout settings
- Convert website prices to your home currency
- Update your communication preferences
- What is the "Wish List" and how does it work?
If you prefer to wait until another day to buy some of the items in your Shopping Cart, simply click the "ADD TO WISH LIST" button. This button can be found on any item’s detail page, to the right of the price information. This will move the title to a list of saved items that you may buy in the future.
To move saved items from the Wish List to the Shopping Cart simply select "BUY" checkbox of each saved item and click the "UPDATE" button.
If you wish to delete an item in your Wish List, select the "Remove" checkbox that appears to the extreme right of any item in your Shopping Cart and click the "UPDATE" button.
Saved Items Disappear? – this happens if your saved unique item(s) (i.e Single Stones) are sold out.

- Account Benefits
As a registered customer, you will be able to view and manage your orders, pending auctions, address book, wish list, receive trade notifications, various offers and multicolour.com newsletter. You will always be able to cancel your account.
- Your Password
Choose a password that is at least six characters long. In general, a good password will have a mix of lower- and upper-case characters, numbers, and should be at least 6 characters long. Unfortunately, passwords like this are often hard to remember and result in people writing them down. Do not write your passwords down!
- Your Wish List
Save items to your Wish List for later consideration. Saving to Wish List doesn’t cost anything!
- Managing your order
To change the order payment or shipping method – please select all items ( simply click the box to the left of each item ) of the order you want to change and click "ADD TO CART" button. All selected items will be placed into the Shopping Cart for your final review. Click the "ORDER CHECKOUT" button to generate new order.
